3pin fan 4pin fan header

I have an Asus P8Z77-v mobo. All the fan headers are 4pin. My fans are all 3pin. One fan a CoolerMaster SickleFlow has an adapter to connect to psu via 4pin molex connector. Can the 3pin connectors be plugged into the 4pin headers?

So the fans will spin at full speed? If that is the only issue I am good with that. I am not worried about noise.
