On my motherboard, i have 3pieces of 4pin fan controllers.
In my case i have 3pieces of 3pin fans.
I know that, i just plug in and leave the PWM pin, but...
Somebody told me, if i plug a 3pin fan, into a 4oin fan controller, it runs the fastest rpm all the time. Is it true?

What is the model of your motherboard? The fan may or may not run at full speed. It depends on whether the mobo controls speed by DC or PWM. Some can do both. Usually the CPU fan can be a 3 or 4 pin, but the case fan connectors will only allow you to change the speed if they are 4 pin.

Well there is a little chance, for I missed the fan's
I chose, the msi b85-g43 pc mate motherboard. i will be able to control my fan's speed?
and there is another question, if i want 4fans, there are any option to control their fan's speed?
Ill chose the corsair sp120 and 140 led editions, for fans.

Aaaand, ill choose the Bitfenix Aegis case.. and it has fan speed controller with molex? i dont know excatly, but it can handle the fan speeds without the motherboard?
