Question Printer toner drums question........just curious.

My Brother MFC-9130CW printer uses color specific drums. Each of the 4 colors has it's own toner cartridge and color specific drum.

I'm just curious as to why a drum would be color specific. Perhaps a chemical coating better suited to a specific color?

Long story short - there are many colors in the world.

All are made up of some basic combination of those colors.
