3rd gen or 4th gen in laptop

i am planning to buy a laptop for my studies , now 4th gen i3 have low ghz(1.7) and the second and third generations have more ghz so which laptop should i buy ??

4th gen or 3rd or 2nd ?

some says that laptop having 4th generation processors will use low power so bettery will stay longer but i don't care if the battery is not running any good i just care about performance of laptop ....

and also suggest me a good laptop ,,,, [ i will not use it for gaming so no graphics card !!]

my budget is 30000 Indian rupees [495.745 us dollars ]

I understand your problems. there is no issue with it is third generation and it is 4th generation. if you want to buy 4th generation. you get i3 with good processor and ram but its range will be high. as you mentioned your budget is up to Rs. 30,000. You can get best laptop under or up to your range.

I can understand, i am also student and i using the laptop for my studies. I have a laptop under rs. 30000 with best processor and ram. there is no problem with any generation. the work will be done same in both generation.
