Question Youtube searches acting weird

So first sorry if this is the wrong area but not sure where this one would fit and I guess since youtube is technically an app too.
so noticed lately when i search for things it will change the wording when I hit enter.
is this new? and is there anyway to disable it? just getting really annoying

What browser(s) are you using?

Are the changes unique to your system? Does anyone else using the system experience the same problem?

Do you use other systems and experience the same problem?

Are you able to provide some examples of how the wording is being changed?

Or, better yet, some screenshots showing the changes.

Have you scanned your system for malware?

Any new apps installed? Or perhaps updates to existing apps?

so been looking into this more and apparently it is just a youtube thing called auto suggest that comes up when you search for things similar to things you've searched for before or just make changes due to typos.

sorry if I caused anyone trouble. I do use edge and it did update itself last night and I usually see new issues pop up whenever it does that, especially the big updates.

No trouble - no worries.

"Auto suggest" and other similar "features" have their place....

However, sometimes we end users are best left alone to do as we wish.

Not what some manufacturer deems we should do.
