Question 3rd master HDD: SMART status BAD ?

Hi,switched on the pc today and got this on the american megatrends screen:
"3rd master Hard Disk: S.M.A.R.T. status BAD. Backup and replace".

i have 1 ssd and 2 x hdd
computer booted up after i pressed F1
i go into my pc and right click on all drives,properties tools error checking.
when i click on check it says you dont need to scan this drive, we havent found any errors on this drive.

So what is best plan of attack?

First? Backup any mission critical data from the drive that's being flagged with said error, while you still have access to it. You can read through this too.

Use HDtune - health section.
It will show, which HDD have failed SMART parameters.

If possible, show screenshots.

For SMART errors you'll have to use appropriate software.

Your Samsung mechanical drive seems to have failed.
It's rather old model. Probably ~ 15 years old.
Get a new one.

that kind of drive is 3.5 sata correct?
any recomendations where to get one? ebay prob not best spot for that

You don't have to get exactly the same model.
All drives for this model will be used and 10 - 15 years old.
Get a brand new drive.

Depends on which drive, and what it is used for.

Yes, 7200rpm is faster than 5400.
But you might never notice.
