Hi, I currently have 2 monitors connected to my pc. Both of them are connected to ports on my graphics card (This is a GeForce 770 4GB). I have a Samsung UE40EH5300 TV and was wondering if this can be connected to a spare port I have on my motherboard (This is a MSI Z97 GAMING 5). I want to use my Samsung TV as a third screen for my pc, is this possible?

As long as you have all 3 plugged into the graphics card, it shouldn't really matter what is plugged in where. However, I recommend that you plug your TV into the HDMI or Display Port.

You'll have to connect your TV to your graphics card. you probably have enough ports, but not necessarily and extra HDMI (I'm assuming) They make Display Port to HDMI adapters, and they aren't super expensive.

On the GeForce website it says my graphics card has these ports: One Dual Link DVI-I, One Dual Link DVI-D, One HDMI, One DisplayPort. So this means that I can connect my TV as a third screen to my graphics card? Is there also a recommendation for putting the TV and my other monitors on certain ports?
