[SOLVED] 4.9 hz and low temps

I got my 8700k to stay at 45c max at 4.9 anyone have similar temps I am curious what you did

Lol I have a corsair h150i as a top radiator to pull air in 2 200mn fans in front a 120mm fan on bottom and another 120 in the back

There is a much lees expensive option.. a leave blower. But there is Nothing wrong with The temps. What did you expert?

Always make Sure, CPU’s in general are able to run at 90C altough i recommend 80C or lower.

I think your CPU is lying to you. Unless it was delid prior, 70c is more like it.

Are you sure its 45c under load like Prime95? And have you run it longer than 5 minutes?

What monitoring programs are you using?

How are you testing?

What is your voltage?

Run Prime95 Version 26.6, Small FFT's for about an hour and let us know how it went.

Oh ok, that makes more sense, either way though they should stress test it a bit to make sure it's stable.

When I get home I reset and go through different way to check temps I use hwinfo msi afterburner and others. I'll post temps when I'm done

I agree. But without knowing voltage and the stress test program we can only guess what is "good". Even delid I haven't seen below 65-70c under prime95 load.

The op may just be trolling us....

Essentially you want to make sure the CPU stays under 80C during load and doesn't exceed 1.4V.

https://gyazo.com/3699eae276324baf5f4f4353a6a4ffb4 tested with prime 95 for 5 minutes I can show voltage as well if you want or show a gif of it running this is after I reset my OC settings. Hwinfo said the same no failures. 56 was max temp that it went to.

Try with HWmonitor, I've seen wrong temps with Hwinfo.

Yes but that was on msi two different tools saying almost same temp I will download hwmonitor though

5minutes is not long enough. 1 hour minimal to find the temps. 5 minutes and the Prime95 is still think about starting its full load. Anything less than 20minutes is pointless.
