Hello all,

I am trying to run 4 monitors on my msi 1080 gtx card. I have had no issue running 3 identical monitors. They are all plugged into the display ports on the card. When I added a 4th monitor and plugged it into the DVI port one of the original monitors turned off and is no longer detected by the video card. From what I have read it is possible to run 4 monitors off of this card but for the life of me I cant seem to figure out how. Has anyone else had this problem?

Thank you.

I have 3 Acer 24inch widescreen RO series and one gateway 24inch monitor. I am trying to run the 3 Acer in surround mode and the gateway as a separate display. In a one over 3 configuration. I was able to get all 4 monitors to come on. Now they are all showing up as one big desktop. How would I achieve separating them into 2 different displays?

I seem to, through trial and error, have gotten this to work. I had to disconnect the 4th display in the windows display panel. Then go into the nvidia control panel and turn the 3 monitors back into 1. Reboot and open the nvidia control panel and enable the 4th display. Going to test this on some games and see if it works out.
