4 monitors on gtx 950

Have a gtx 950 on the way and wondering what I'll need to get 4 monitors running. Will I need 2 active display port adapters, or can I just plug them all in? The card has 2 dvi, 1 hdmi and 1 displayport.

edit: I ask if I need active displayport adapters because I previously had an amd card which needed them.

I'm running 3 on a 950, no active adapters. I dont see why you'd need one with 4

Dont put on funky adapters if you dont need them, what connections do your monitors have?

All depends on what your monitors take...I'm assuming theyre DVI/HDMI. In that case you can either get the DPI>HDMI Cables or get adapters.

well 3 monitors are just dvi to dvi and 1 is using a dvi to hdmi. I'm guessing I will need active displayports to convert from dvi to displayport signal or something.

i plugged a 4th monitor in using an active display port adapter for dvi, works fine.

Nvidia cards do not require you to use an active adapter.

Ok thanks, are you sure this is the case even when going from DVI to displayport?
