Question 4-Pin Mini Male-to-Male Adapter for Fan Connection on GeForce GTX 1660

I need expert advice to address a fan compatibility issue in my system. I have a GeForce GTX 1660 video card; unfortunately, the fan is broken. I've acquired a replacement fan with the same part number as the original.

I'm looking for an adapter to connect the mini 4-pin male to a standard 4-pin male, but I'm not sure one exists. Does anyone know where I might find such an adapter?
If a ready-made adapter isn't available, I'd appreciate any instructions or tips on creating one.

Alternative solutions are also welcomed.

For context, here's what I have:

New and old fan connectors:

Connector on the video card with the old fan:

The link for the new fan I bought is https://www.gpufanreplacement.com/p...-2080ti-super-xc-ultra-gaming-fan-replacement (it was the same part number as the current)

Thanks so much in advance

That "NEW" connector - is that the connector on the replacement fan?

Replacement fan: make and model? Source? Link?

Connector appears damaged or melted to me.

Try taking another couple of photographs showing the connection paths and connectors in order along the path.

My understanding of the connectivity requirements:

GTX 1660 GPU [4 pin male] < ----- Standard 4 pin female ====== mini 4 pin adapter male <----- mini 4 pin female -----Replacement fan.

Feel free to edit and correct the above connectivity path as necessary.

The easiest way to change the connector on the end of your NEW fan's cable is to cut the connectors off from BOTH fans, then splice each wire of the new fan to wires of the old connector. HOWEVER, which wire to which? You do not have any info about the FUNCTION of each wire on EACH of those fans. So your only hope would be to GUESS that you match wire colour codes - that is IF the same four colours are used on both fans. If NOT, then you really are "in the dark".
