Hi!
I recently purchased a LED kit for my system, which requires a molex to be plugged directly into the PSU. My PSU is a Cooler Master v700 fully modular, can I simply plug a 4-pin molex directly into a peripheral slot, or is there an adapter I need? There is no female molex slot on my PSU. Any help would be appreciated.

To eliminate any confusion, would you send the LED kit information (web page if you have it)? I think all you need to do is plug your LED kit into a molex cable from modular PSU. You should have the extra modular cables in your PSU box.

The PCI-E adapter cable (that you mentioned) would use one of your PSU PCI-E cables (which normally would power a graphics card) to convert power two molex connectors. But it is an option that I use only if I had used all of the regular molex cables from the PSU.
