[SOLVED] 4 pin psu to power 8 pin motherboard

Good morning. I have a gigabyte ga-x79s up5 wifi board with an i7-3280 (not a k processor). Will my 4 pin cpu connector work.

Yes. They usually give 8 for better stability to overclock if im right.
But which psu? Usually most of good psu's come with 8pin.
