40 degree 8320 temps while watching youtube

When ever I watch fullscreen 1080p youtube videos my cpu gets up into the low 40's. Is this normal since im using the stock cooler?

Yes that is entirely normal. That cooler (which is the same as my old one) is far from good. I hit 50C while watching videos. If you get above around 55-60 you may want to look into aftermarket cooling.
