As the title says , I'm looking for a 400-550$ budget laptop. To keep the barrage of 'Build your own PC , and don't buy a laptop!' comments to a minimum, I already own a PC. I need a laptop because I currently don't own any laptops for when I'm on trips or really any time I'm not at my home. I ran my budget dry with my gaming PC I already own (my setup dropped me about 1300-1400$) so I only have about 500$ for a laptop. I don't play demanding games , only MMOs like World of Tanks and some strategy games like Total War. So I hope you can help me.

i currently have msi gx660r originally 1600 which im sure you can find for 500 or less. it uses amd 5870m and i5 450m. if i were to ever upgrade, it would be a i7 920xm socket g1 to replace the 450m. sometimes it pops up around $100 if ur lucky. if i were to point something out, you should be looking for a laptop built for gaming that is easily upgradeable and can still play demanding games. pretty much anything msi has alot of wiggleroom. msi gx660, gt60,gt70 in chronological order i believe. mobile sandy bridge blows mobil nahalem tylerberg cpu out with no competition. easily go for the newest tech u find cheap. ie gt60 gt70
