400Mhz deschutes on LX6

Hi All,

Is there a reason why the LX6 v1.1 board will not accept a PII 400 Deschutes
cpu?
Tried every setting available in the bios , it always says 'cpu unworkable'
, never shows 400Mhz, 366MHZ is the max .
Exception, it will work when set to 4x75=300.
The only time I saw the 400Mhz at boot up is when I plugged the 300Mhz back
in (which runs great) and set the bios to 4x100 or something like that
(Forgot to take note sorry). Of course the 'cpu unworkable ' showed , but at
least I now saw 400Mhz announced.
the 300Mhz is also a Deschutes.

All help is greatly appreciated
