Hi, I’ve just upgraded from a 1050 TI to a 4060. I’ve installed it and it is showing as connected but when I look at my GeForce app it says there is 0 watts. The fans spin when the PC is turned on but from then onwards they stop.

I have tried quite a few things such as switching the PCIe cable, changing BIOS settings and then updating bios, trying a different slot in my motherboard and also switching ports in my brand new 850W PSU.

Is there anything else I could try to fix this issue or is it possible I have a faulty graphics card?

Did you use DDU to remove all GPU drivers(intel, AMD and Nvidia) in Safe Mode to manually install the latest GPU driver sourced from Nvidia's support site in an elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator?

BIOS version for your motherboard?

No I did not uninstall anything I just swapped the GPUS’s over. I don’t know too much about all this so I just assumed it would be okay,

How do I find my bios version?

I have just uninstalled my drivers and restarted my computer. My fans are spinning which it has only done when my computer is booting up.

Once I install the drivers the fans stop spinning and GeForce app says there is 0 watts
