Question 4070 super runnign at 60%

Hey guys i wanted to see if anyone could help me get my gpu utilization up to where is should be. I have a 4070 super and a 5800x3d and in rainbow six siege i am getting under 280 fps with my gpu at round 60% and my cpu at 40% at 1440p. If i lower my resolution to 1080p I get the exact same fps and my gpu drops to around 45%

That is pretty much what a CPU bottleneck is. 40% CPU is likely indicated that the main game thread is entirely maxing out a core, it just can't ask for any more frames, so reducing the resolution just means the GPU has even less to do.

Confirm that your system memory is running dual channel mode at a reasonable speed of 3200 or 3600, that would be the only other major thing.

What you can actually do here is increase the graphics settings if you want to with little performance loss.

My ram is 3200 dual channel. And I am a pretty might level player so am wanting to push the max fps i can without really careing too much about the graphical settings. Also if its a cpu bottleneck how are other people manageing to get way higher average fps with the same exact parts ie.
