I've just replaced my 2060 super with a 4070 ti and my moniters won't show anything on screen... When I plug an HDMI to my motherboard everything is fine but it seems as if my GPU isn't getting enough power even though I have two PSIe cables connected to it and my PSU is 850 wats... I really am lost! Please help!!

Does the GPU light up and the fans spin when you power the PC on?
You might also want to check in your BIOS if it is not forced to iGPU, if that's the case change to Auto or your PCIe GPU to test maybe.

Open box = no warranty = you're stuck with it. No way to recover your costs with this seemingly dead GPU.
Perhaps it was the reason it was sold? Since it was dead.
It's incredible how incorrect you are - 1. It does have a warrenty and a money back guarantee 2. No it does not?? It's working now, all it needed was a BIOS update. 3. That's just a <Mod Edit> thing to say to someone who is already stressed and it doesn't help at all...

Second hand GPUs can be mining cards and have a bad rep. One miner washed the GPUs before selling them and the GPU dies cracked. This happened because there was water behind the die and pressure from the heating of the water. Caused the die to crack. So the cards worked at first but them died.

With second hand stuff it is a risk. We are all happy you got it to work and hope you get no issues in future. We are all gamers etc here. We know what its like to have something big fail.

Basically scalpers have made the second hand market the most hated thing on the planet.

90% of times, when GPU throws a fit, it's dead. No bringing it back anymore. Hence why i said "seemingly" dead. Not 100% dead. There's a diff.

So, you lucked out. Good for you. Enjoy your GPU.
