I have slotted a ASUS TUF 4090 OG OC 24gb into my system and on boot it will not appear in bios nor will it appear in device manager. I cleared my CMOS battery to reset bios, re-seated + reallocated power to the card. This system was previously running a 2070 super functioning just before the swap.
Notes:
Build - PCPartPicker
When the computer is off, a red light on the card indicates that it's not receiving power, this goes away when booting + running the system.
The RGB/Colors are functioning on the card
The fans are NOT spinning during bootup or use
The card is not appearing in bios, device manager or dxdiag
I heard not to daisy chain the connections, so I have three individual pci-e cables connected to my power supply and the last one is daisy chained as I researched that was okay.
(Expert cable explanation for power)
I did buy this secondhand what was seemingly a good deal so I'm currently assuming good faith in assuming that the error for this card is on my end before I contact the seller. Also warranty for the serial is still valid through ASUS when I checked. I'm praying the interior wasn't scrapped or something crazy. The card was claimed unused for a build they planned on doing but needed money instead.
