Question 4090 Power Supply/Cable Question

Hey guys,

Sorry to ask this but I couldn't find an exact answer.

I have a hx1000i power supply. I'm installing a 4090 fe in my i9 12gen system. The power supply comes with (3) 8 pin dual cables (2) 6+2 per. I also have a few extra 8 pin cables from my old hx1000. Can I use the the other cables from my old pcu? Also can I use 2 of the dual cables as long as I use 1 cable per adaptor slot?

It should work as the cables should be identical.
