also i5 4590 is better

Solution

a 970 will defenitley bottleneck like hell.. plus i3 is a dualcore.. newer games like farcry 4 are having difficult time running on dual core..

also even if you want to reduce bottlenecks, you cant overclock that cpu since its not a "k" versoin

why would you bother to buy a gamnig mobo if you want to buy a non-overclocking cpu.. that too a dual core i3

ps : i know you are not the OP.. but debating is fun

which way is more cost effective with future, changing a cpu in near 1.5 years or changing a gpu in near 1.5 years considering the above builds.
This answer will actually narrow the search down to 2 choices i think !

some tips : R9 280X and faster like GTX 970 can run anything . G3258 is junk compared to i3 . R9 280 is about 10% slower than R9 280X . Overclocking means more Watts and your current PSU might get insufficient

my last build is more balanced .i would pick it

true

powerful gpus last 2-3 years atleast before it gets old

cpu can get old quicker.. especially when it comes to single core performance

Performs just as good as an i3 while being $40 cheaper

You can overclock the G3258 on the stock cooler. It's only a 50w CPU. Do you have any proof of stuttering issues?
