Hi all, i have been using a 1050 ti with a ryzen 3 1200 @3.8ghz with a 450 watt psu for a while now. will i be able to use said psu with a gaming x rx 580 and a ryzen 5 2600 maybe overclocked?
You might be able to get away with it for the short term, but I wouldn't plan on using that PSU for too long. Just buy a newer and good quality unit to replace it with a bit more overhead and you should be fine.
Simple answer? Not likely. The 580 carries a recommendation of a 500w PSU and that doesn't account for any of your other stuff. You're asking for potential trouble with that unit.

I believe its an evga bronze 450 watt. it isnt too much trouble to upgrade just wondering.
For future reference, when someone asks for the exact model, they mean the actual model number, not just the brand. EVGA makes at least 3 different 450W bronze power supplies. All of which vary in quality.
Depending on the model in question, you may be fine, although I wouldn't recommend overclocking the RX 580. Instead, look into undervolting the RX 580 (which is a good idea regardless).
