450 watt psu enough to run a 970?

Hey guys
I was wondering if my 450w psu is able to handle my 970 or even my whole system itself. I was looking at many different psu calculators and most of them said that my system would need 449 watts under load. I dont know if that means a gaming load or a full load like other programs.
I dont want my system to blow up so thats why im asking
Any help is appreciated

System specs:
Intel Xeon x5650 oc to 3.8ghz
Msi x58 pro Motherboard
Msi gtx 970 gaming 4G
2x 1600mhz 8gb ddr3
2x 7.2k sata hdds
Corsair vs450
5 120mm fans in total

The VS450W can run your system with the 970 , but quality isn't the greatest.

A quality 550w would be a better scenario , the your Corsair can run it.
