450W SMPS enough?

My PC SPEC:
Gigabyte ga 78lmt usb3
FX 6300 processor
4GB DDR3 RAM
R7 250 1GB DDR5
Now I have a 450W SMPS with me and I would like to know whether I should buy a new one with better supply or use the old one.

Also another doubt - My PSU have a 4-pin ATX 12V connector while Motherboard have 8-pin port, will it work without any problem?

The PSU which you have is not a good one. PSU is the most important part in your computer so don't compromise on the PSU. I have lost 2 HDDs and 2 RAMs because of a poor PSU. You should not get zebronics, tech-com, odyssey and intex PSUs. Please get a good PSU like Antec vp 450p or Corsair vs 450.

The 450watt as said above would be minimum.If maybe wanting to upgrade in the future would i pick a 550watt psu like these.

Those two PSUs comes with 2 four pin ATX(8 in total) connectors. So go ahead and buy any of the above two. Antec is the best amongst the two.
