Hello, I've been experimenting with overclocking and am still fairly new to it. I've watched many guides and the highest stability I've reached so far without tweaking is 4.8 GHz @ .9 Vcore or so. How could I tweak my 4770k to be stable @ 5 GHz? I'd love a professional guide where I can try to achieve this goal. All assistance is welcome, btw, cooling is not an issue.

You've started several threads concerning overclocking your 4770K, the first of which I think was i7-4770k stable @ 4.8 GHz - http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-2190700/4770k-st....

At 5.0Ghz, that voltage is only possible during idle or very light loads. Use CPU-Z and Core Temp while running Prime95 Small FFT's to properly test your CPU at 100% workload.

It's all explained in the following Sticky: Intel Temperature Guide - http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-1808604/intel-temperature-guide.html
