[SOLVED] 4770k overclock problems

My system was working perfectly fine with the i7 4770k @4.4 ghz. I tested it with aida64 for 30 minutes and it ran stable, cinebench a few times, did the basic stuff. I played rainbow six siege for about an hour or so with temps no higher than 65 to 70 celcius but then randomly while joining my 3rd or 4th match I got blue screened with the WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR error. My voltage is 1.25v and i've heard that its an okay voltage. I raised it to 1.3v but I don't know exactly if that is a good move or not. Any advice?

-i7 4770k @4.4ghz
-Asus Maximus VI Extreme z87
-32gb Corsair Dominator Platinum 2133mhz ddr3 4x8gb
-Geforce GTX 1080 Founders Edition
-Corsair h100i v2 aio liquid cooler
-Phanteks Enthoo Pro M SE

Then try moving between 1.25-1.3V to find a stable place. according to my knowledge most of the 4770Ks can hit up to 80C at 4.6Ghz which is the maximum for that CPU using 1.3V. So as you on 4.4Ghz yet you can look forwards to back it up some VCORE. But in the same time 1.3V with 4.4G is fine as you are not boiling.

You need to be doing a 12+hour stress test on the CPU.
If you are getting blue screens in games then the CPU isn't stable.
Increasing the voltage that much isn't a good idea, you should be increasing it a little bit at a time and testing stability.

Don't do this crazy long stress tests! 2h of prime 26.6 should be enough. Also you most likely won't need to up the voltage to 1.3v. If 1.25v was somewhat semistable i would go for 1.27v and see how it's going.

I was getting 68c most of the time with no stuttering or anything. I was just playing and then got hit with a blue screen

Okay, but in my bios I see cpu cache voltage and cpu core voltage. I've been messing with core voltage primarily but do I even touch cache voltage? Cache is set to auto
 


Leave it as it is.. keep work with ratio primarily. Core voltage is the main reason to a CPU to get hot.
