4790k on x99 chipset

Frist sorry for bad english.
I have i7 4790k and asus z97 k and i thinking about to improve my motherboard
question is:is 4790k support x99 chipset

Short answer: no. 4790k is not compatible on X99 chipset. 4790k works on LGA 1150 motherboards only. X99 chipset is using LGA 2011-3, which is reserved for Haswell-E CPUs.
