I've just got my new XFX R9 380 4GB Graphics Card and everything looks fantastic. However, when I play more graphically challenging games, such as Battlefield 4 or GTA5 then my temperatures go through the roof to 85 degrees and over. I have worked in IT before and I am no newcomer to computers by any means so I know that if this persists then it will GREATLY decrease the life span of my card. I also play games such as Dota 2 and my temperatures while playing Dota is around 60-70 degrees so there isn't much need for worry there. Also, my temperatures while Idle are around 35-45 degrees.
I've used MSI Afterburner to increase the fan speed at lower temperatures but it really hasn't made any difference.
If anyone could give me some pointers on what to do then it would be greatly appreciated.
