hi everyone, is it possible that in windows 7 my dxdiag is showing 4gb video but in windows xp it only show 2gb? is that really possible coz my senior borrowed my geforce gt 630 4gb3 and he's saying its only 2gb or he replaced my video card?
No, the gpu itself on the graphics card is soldered, has a different size and pin layout, and the control board won't be compatible with different gpu models. Just check what gpuz says the specs are and you are fine.
ideally not possible...thrs a lot involved...clock speed, core count, etc...
when he is done, put it in ur machine...u ll knw if thr is any discrepancy...
