whats the difference between D9GKX and D9MGH, and which is better (is it the silver heatsink that had the GKX?)
D9GMH scales much better than D9GKX voltage wise, Shamino proved this reaching 3.2v on some very highly binned Gskill HZs. But D9GKX can retain lower latencies even if overclocked, but anything above 2.6v will just be diminishing returns. Due to this, D9GMH will be able to reach much higher speeds but GKX will perform better for 24/7 because you dont need massive voltages to extract its full potential.
The handpicked GKX are VERY expensive and honestly not worth it as regular GKX gets the job done for now.

The problem with the SuperTalent is that recently they supply for GKX has been endagered, and the company bought a truck load of D9GCT that we still dont know where theyll go... But its still your best chance of getting D9GKX.
*catches breath back*
I got my cpu running at fx-62 (10:7 divider) speeds and idling at only 26, yay!
PFF, you can do better than that. Rejoice when you've reached 3.2Ghz 😀

If you want to hit the 4ghz mark,I suggest getting a water cooling system.Although I've heard of people getting 4ghz out of their cpu's,none have been the c2d.I suspect that water cooling will be necessary for you to achieve that high of clock rate.Goodluck.

I dont think that even water cooling could save you from how rediculously high the FSB would have to be to reach 4Ghz on that chip. If you had an E6600 it might be possible under water cooling.

Thats a E6300, not a E4300. This is a E4300:

I think you mis understood me
the link I provided is an E6300.
the world record for air.

the 4300 is 4.3Ghz for the world record on dry ice not the E4300
Drink some coffee

i talked to my dad and he says no on the better dominator, so super talent it is (which I have have heard is actually quite nice)

I'm just wondering, doesn't 35 seem really high for the zalman am2 cooler with their high end stg1 thermal grease, I will give it a couple more days to break in, but otherwise, do you think I should switch greases or coolers, because the zlamn should be capable of lower it down to the 20s for idle, not raising it to almost 40 (I have the am2 4000 at stock right now because of the ram)
dude i sware i got my super talent ram...and popped it in...ORGY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i<333 it

check my sig for my stats...everything...is stock cooled...replacing..everything around xmas with a that watercooler kit the guy recommended...it looks sexyy

nice find by the way..have to give u some props

That was my overclock.

It was a asus p5b-dlx board, patriot pc7200 ram, that did 560mhz 1:1, and the golden e6300, the cooler was a freezer 7 pro.

There was more in the chip but could'nt get more than 560 out of the ram.
