Hey there.

So my TV (TCL U55S7906) supports 10bit colors.
And hdcp2.2 on all HDMI ports.
I have a GTX 1080ti connected to the TV with a brand new 18Gbps HDMI cable.

But still can't get 10 bit, full dynamic output, ycbr444/RGB working..

Why not?

When I set the resolution to 2160p 30hz I can get 8bit/RGB/full dynamic output

When I set the resolution to 1440p 60hz I can get 12 bit(no clue why not 10bit)/RGB and full dynamic output

Tried all HDMI ports on TV..

Don't know what to do...

Maybe graphics card-> Display Port cable-> HDMI adapter -> HDMI port TV?

Oh and is it true that RGB brings the best colors instead of 420/422/444?

HDMI 2.0 provides a maximum data rate of 14.4 Gbit/s.

4K 60 Hz 8 bpc RGB requires ≈12 Gbit/s, which is within the limit. 4K 60 Hz 10 bpc RGB requires ≈15 Gbit/s, which is beyond the limit of HDMI 2.0.

Using an adapter will not circumvent this limit.

RGB provides the best color precision, yes. YCbCr subsampling (4:2:2 or 4:2:0) reduces color resolution, but reduces bandwidth, which is why 60 Hz 10 bpc is possible when using 4:2:2 or 4:2:0.
