4k gaming stuttering with a i7 5930k and gtx 1080

Hey guys so i just got a gtx 1080 and a 4k monitor, most of the games run nicely but occasionally get alot of stuttering, what is usually the best settings for smooth performance?

Are you turning anti alaising off? What are your temps and fps?
Also what games is it doing it in?

Yes Anti Alaising is off, temps for my GPU are usually 65-70 and the usage is at 100% and it usually occurs in all of my games

The 1080 is a little low spec for 4k, you're looking at medium settings across the board, the 1080 Ti is really the only viable card for 4k atm.
