I'm looking to put together a system that will allow me to game in native resolution on an Asus Swift. I would like to build ASAP. My budget is around $2000 ($2200 max). This does not include monitor etc.

I have some build experience, but it's been a little while and I haven't been following the latest tech. The main purpose of this machine will be gaming.

I'm in the US, so I can use Newegg, Amazon, etc. From experience, I prefer Nvidia graphics (unless AMD is the clear choice for higher resolution gaming right now).

Anyone able to put together a sample build for me?

Thanks in advance!

980sli is quicker than 970sli but not by much. I've buillt with both setups and used them both on my 4k monitor. I had used EVGA 980s and Asus Strix 970s. Those 970s overclocked so well that they were able to beat the stock 980s. I'd personally use Immaculates build but with Gracs SSD. I'd only say to go for the 980s if you really want them because they are not worth the premium.
