I have a Samsung U28E590D gaming monitor. I’ve been playing BF5 on 1440p. However, I would like to get as much FPS as possible and have tried 1080p, but it’s simply way too blurry for me. Is their anything I can do about this, its so much smoother in 1080, and I can even run Ultra settings. Unlike now, where I run everything on medium. I have a gtx 1070 and i5 4690.

Solution
I think what is happening is when you have a 4k monitor and you downgrade content to 1080p, so the pixels have to readjust and now some something that would have taken up one pixel on 4k would take up multiple on 1080p thus making it blurry. The scaling makes it blurry. I don't think there is anything to do about this unless you just use a 1080p monitor for BF5.
