I just upgraded from a gtx 970 to a msi gtx 1080 ti duke. my monitor wont display at 60 HZ in 4k anymore. it worked fine when doing it with my gtx 970. i have a samsung u28e590d 4k monitor. I updated the drivers for the card but now the monitor will only display 30hz in 4k, i dont know what to do so any help would be appreciated

Solution
Once your on the advanced display settings, go on display adapter properties (if using Windows 10) and there you should be able to find the option to change the Hz settings for your monitor.

It's either this or maybe you can change the Hz settings on the monitor itself I believe
