so i currently have 1440p 60hz and i want to updgrade, for those of you who have seen both, what is the bigger jump, 60hz to 144hz, or 1440p to 4k?

keep in the mind that performance is more important to me than graphics, for example, i rather play at medium settings 60fps than ultra settings 45fps.

the question is, how big of a differnce is 144hz, i never played one and wont be able to unless i buy.

Difference is significant. Motion is more fluid and screen tearing effect is less noticeable. Once you have used high refresh screen, you won't want to go back to 60Hz.

But this also depends on games played. For example in shooter type games high refresh is very important. In RPG, strategy type games - not so much.

With your endeavor for higher resolution you will need a capable GPU to back that resolution while you tax it with games. Mind sharing what the specs to your system are, like so:
CPU:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:

Please include the make and model of the monitor you're currently working off of.
