4k problems please help

Hello people of TomsHardware I'm making the this post today to ask you for help about a problem I'm having with my 4k Monitor as I've looked on this website: http://www.lagom.nl/lcd-test/display_settings.php

And it shows I'm not running 4k even though it says I'm running 4k on screen resalotion it says I'm running 2560x1440 please help me.

What do your Windows settings say? I'd be more likely to trust that than some website that tells me my 1920*1080 resolution is uncommon.

The website might not account for the possibility of 4k screens. It told me that I'm running an adnormal resolution, even though it is 1080p.

your resolution does not have a common 5:4 (1.25), 4:3 (1.33), or 16:10 (1.6) aspect ratio, which means that images can be distorted. Your aspect ratio is: 1.78.

Clearly this is a very old website that isn't up to the times.

That's no 4K. 4K is at least 3840 horizontal pixels.

It says 4k but my resolution isn't 4k as I've tried it on a different PC and it's much better then this.

Which monitor do you have by the way? I don't see anyone mentioning which one it is.

Yes it does it's an R9 290 Tri-x.
