4k resolution not working after Windows update

So I remember jumping through hoops and using pixel patcher and CRU to get my 4k TV to actually display 4k.

Right now, when I go into settings it says that is IS displaying 3840x2160 BUT what it's really doing is up-scaling 1080p. I can tell because my desktop background is noticeably less sharp, and text is also less sharp.

I've re-patched the drivers or whatever with pixel patcher, but the resolution still looks washed out.
whatismyscreenresolution is showing 2195x1235???? and windows and AMD both show 3840x2160! Can someone explain this?

Please help me figure out how to get it to actually display the real 4k resolution? Thank you!

that is why the browser shows a different resolution because it is scaling the window 175 percent... if you change the scaling to 100 percent and then open the browser does it say 3840x2160? it should at that point, but then all your other stuff will be smaller... that is the problem you have to deal with in windows for 4k scaling at the moment

In AMD settings, it says both scaling and "virtual super resolution" are off. I tried messing around with them but noticed no difference.

I should note, I'm running the 17.10.2 version of crimson.

I keep using the patcher, and it says all drivers are signed, but the resolution is still not truly 4k. 2195 x 1235? Like where did this number even come from? I don't see it selected anywhere.

Any other ideas? I DID get it working somehow months ago, so I know it's possible.

It was 350% right after the update. I changed it to 175% (same as what I had before the update)
Is THAT what you mean?
Or is there another scaling option in the windows settings? Because I always had it to 175% and everything was significantly more crisp before.
