Hello!

So i am looking to get a new monitor, was looking at 4k only but most people suggest 120hz+ instead and 1440p and now im not sure what to get.

4k is newer and nicer but as all people say for gaming 120-144hz is so much smoother and once you go 120+hz you never go back to 60, same as i belive with 4k

Atm im looking at Acer 27" Predator XB271HU for 1440p 144hz and for 4k Asus 27" Swift PG27AQ

They both cost the same 900€ so what monitor would you guys suggest, it can be a other model but has to be 27" and ips screen

Solution
The main reasons for choosing 1440p 144/165Hz for now:
For 4k, you need some serious investment to get those new heavy AAA games just to get 60fps.

XB270HU is the older model of XB271HU and very similar to ASUS PG279Q.
Those monitors are all 144/165Hz 1440p 27" IPS monitors.
They are the best gaming monitors you can buy, if you can afford them.
Before those are available, you always have to choose between image quality (normal IPS) or higher refresh rate (TN). With those monitors, you have everything you want on a gaming monitor.
The only downside is that, the technology seems to be very new and a bit instable in the production part.
Getting a fully working monitor depend highly on your luck.
The monitors are plagued with...
I went for the Asus PG279Q.
I looked at 4K monitors and didn't really liked how they look at 27" plus 4K will move to 120Hz+ eventually which could make your 60Hz 4K monitor feel outdated faster.
current GPUs are perfect for 1440p (GTX1070/1080) but struggle with 4K.

I recommend looking at 4K and 1440p monitors somewhere because everyone viewing standards are different.

What is your overall experience with the monitor anything you miss from it or overall something bad? and whats all the good with it?

The monitors are plagued with backlight-bleeding issues, etc.
If you can get a fully working one, playing on 144Hz or 165Hz is incredible, especially if your system can really push the fps above 90. And, while the monitors arenot running on 4k, you do not have a really hard time today to get such fps compared to 4k..
Try them and you will never wanna go back.

Solution

Atm i have 3 27" 1080p monitors 2 ips and 1 older tn, and that i already know that ips is a must never going to tn panels again.

And once i decide what new monitor to get i will run 4 monitors 1 above the midle one.

I dont game on all 3 as i did try it but dont really like the nvidia surround and eyefinity as games just look stretched the side monitors, in some games like battlefield that has it better optimized it looks fine but i just like many screens for multitasking could never go back to less then 3.

I am thinking that the 120hz+ and 1440p will be a better option even when i could run games on medium to high on 4k as i have a i7-6700k and gtx 1080.
