5.1 sound using the generic drivers

Hey. My motherboard has HD Audio and using the Realtek drivers the microphone picks up the stereo mix sound even tough it shouldn't because there is no audio source turned on, it picks up the voice and the stereo mix too. I uninstalled and I'm using the Windows generic drivers with which the microphone is okay but it only allows me stereo sound and I have a 5.1 audio system. What can I do to enable 5.1 audio output?

Download the drivers from realtek if they are available.

They are no good, the mic is still buggy. I just want to use the built in driver but I can't select 5.1 channels. What can I do without installing the Realtek driver?
