Coinciding with the launch of Rome 2: Total War, I am purchasing a large 27in Monitor which will compliment my gaming experience. After trawling the internet I have narrowed it down to a few suspects:

AOC e2752Vq (http://www.scan.co.uk/products/27-aoc-e2752vq-led-full-hd-hdmi-dvi-vga-display-port-1920x1080-300cd-m-12001-2ms-speakers)

Benq GL2750HM (http://www.scan.co.uk/products/27-benq-gl2750hm-led-full-hd-hdmi-dvi-vga-1920x1080-300cd-m-12001-2ms-speakers-black)

Acer V273HL (http://www.scan.co.uk/products/27-acer-v273hl-led-full-hd-monitor-hdmi-dvi-vga-1920x1080-300cd-m-100m1-5ms-speakers-black-vesa)

LG 27EA33V (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824005419)

Iiyama Prolite E2773HS (http://www.scan.co.uk/products/27-iiyama-e2773hs-gb1-led-full-hd-monitor-hdmi-dvi-vga-1920x1080-300cd-m2-5m1-1ms-black)

This will be my sole computer monitor used mostly for gaming but I do video editing, music production and internet browsing also.

I'm looking for any advice you can give on this issue and any guidance onto which one would be helpful. I understand the descriptions and the specs but I would like some insight from someone who has further knowledge on this matter.

Kind regards, Paul

Can anybody spot immediate differences between these? I've noticed 1 is a DVI monitor, and the other a HDMI

For 27" you wanna go 1440p due to increased ppi and resolution and 27" at 1080p looks horrible and its best to stay around 23" 24". When ultra HD comes i would love to see 32" or so which would bring the ppi to around 136= TASTY
