5 pin RGBW header to 4 pin

Hello guys i wanted to ask that can i connect 4 pin cable to 5 pin 12v rgbw header, willit be safe and will it work please help

You can bend the 5th pin over (the one for the white light) and not use it.

It helps to have a 5 pin extension cable and bend THAT pin on the cable so you don't have to bend a pin on the header.

sir your answer helped alot but i wanted to ask (since im a starter) that i have the cable of rgb which is female, meaning that it has to be inserted 4 pins, but my mobo has 5 pin rgbw header (is has 5 pins not 4), so can i just put the cable to the first 4 pins and leave the last one as it is on mobo? thanks alot

RGB is not going to work without first pin (+12v) connected. https://superuser.com/questions/774920/led-case-lighting-installation
and if you connect those 4, Red LEDs will not work.
