LOL. But, if they can combine long-range optical zoom (sniper-scope-ish 18x or more), high-megapixel (see camera above, like 30+MP), and long battery life (ever had those moments when you had the perfect view, but a dead battery?), while providing portability (Ever saw a Sony Cybershot lately? The 7 or 8mp but something-like-your-wallet thick?), THAT would be something everyone would want. Although, 40k-ish is still just a "little" overpriced when a 39mp camera is in the $1k range, right?

Well, the $1000 price tag is just for the 39 MP CCD, so the camera must be quite expensive as well.

Nevertheless, I'd like to shoot some photos with such a camera sometime, they must look great (and take an awful long time to load in Photoshop)

I'm intrigued as to why the RAW image uses less space than the TIFF one.
