$500 GTX 1060 6GB Rig (U.S)

I was wondering, if it would be better to buy some of the parts from Newegg and BestBuy, or Newegg and Amazon? This rig would be finished by Christmas or February 2018. Should I build the PC now without the 1060, and use a 730 until Nvidia reveals their new line, or should I buy the 1060? I am having second thoughts on my 1060 because I'm not sure if it can survive 2018. So, is it future-proof or should I get something else for 2018? Thanks!

General sensible advice? Sell the parts of ur old pc separately in ebay or Craigslist. You will get more for the parts than selling it as a single pc.
