Question 500d compatibility with the Asus ROG Strix x470-F motherboard

I was wondering if anyone had tryed to fit this motherboard to this case. If they do fit they look like they would be tight at a minimum the motherboard should technically fit in the case since they are both atx but the middle riser does not fit the motherboard well unless I am not fitting the motherboard in correctly. The IO shield could also be a source of issues because it is preinstalled it does not seem to be snapping in correctly. Any help with this would be appreciated thanks.

The Corsair 500d mid tower case is compatible with ATX form factor so your MB will fit.
Sometimes they can be a fiddle to fit the IO Shield and at the same time locating the middle riser.
Just carefully keep trying without forcing anything.

I have the Corsair 500D case (with RGB). Look to my thread about how I installed the motherboard. I hope to be usefull for you.
Finally, I unistalled the central standoff wich was installed by the manufacturer to “ help the alignement “ .
I replaced it with a normal standoff ( the only one in your box) and then, I succeded to install the motherboard.
