500GB SATA2 for OS,Gaming and recording/streaming ?

Can one SATA2 use all that without performance drops due to disk usage ? I never had thoughts about that before but now I'm kinda worried. My SSD died and its out of warranty so I need month or two to buy new one.

I assume that around 100mb/s can do that without performance drop in games right ?

I suppose it depends mainly on the game itself over anything else. Considering your specs I assume you're a high-level gamer, such as COD:AW, Crysis 3, Farcry 4 etc, games that are newer and have a TON of textures and whatnot. With games such as those there is going to be a lot of constant HDD access. New textures are constantly being introduced, causing an increase in I/O. I would think that it wouldn't be enough to cause any significant FPS drop, but stuttering may be an issue. I think the only way around that would be to disable the pagefile until you get a better drive. With Windows using part of the drive as RAM, access would increase significantly. Your CPU should be able to handle the increased load as I assume disabling caching...
There will surely be a performance difference in loading times and during large read/writes.
While gaming and streaming I don't think it will be significant enough to cause a serious impact.

On the other hand what other choices do you have?
 
I have old SATA but in sentinel it's accaptable only. Perhaps I can use that hdd only for softwares ? While gaming and OS would be on SATA2. If that actually helps.. Loading times are not really a issue, frapedrops and shuttering - thats what I'm afraid of.

This is all theorizing however, when it comes down to it you don't know until you try. If you weren't both recording AND streaming I don't think there would be an issue, but with 4 major I/O factors there, on top of background processes and Windows itself, it's hard to predict.
