500w PSU For a Strix 1070?

I'm looking to upgrade from my MSI RX470 Armor OC to an Asus Strix 1070 8gb. I'm a little concerned that my PSU might not be powerful enough for the new card.

my PC's specs:

i5 6600k @ 4.0 ghz

2x8gb GEIL Evo Potenza ddr4 2400mhz

2x256gb Adata SSD in RAID 0

1x Samsung 5400rpm 500gb HDD

Cryorig H7 tower cooler

Seasonic 500w 80+ gold PSU

The Seasonic PSU is fine. Nvidia recommends 500W as the minimum for the GTX 1070. If you plan of doing some heavy CPU or GPU OC'ing, it might be marginal. But we would be able to say for sure if we knew the exact Seasonic 500W you have.

Btw, I think you have a typo or something in the description of your SSD. SSDs don't spin.

You will be ok imo. your max loads with 1070 will be around 360-400 watts . Which exactly seasonic model you own?

I5 and GTX 1070? Hardly uses 270w at load. Even OC wouldn't make that much higher. I have an OC i7-6700k and OC GTX 1080 and at best it pulls 320w.
