Question 5070 in my pc

I concur with the other 2 users. I was actually wanting to upgrade my gpu and actually purchased a 9070xt this past Monday. I got it for $699 which was a great deal.

I'd actually reserved a 5070 through my local Microcenter for 599, but what kept coming to mind was that 12gb of vram. If you watch the guys on youtube etc, so many of them when they are looking at stuff you see vram use at 10-11gb and kind of like ok, the 5070 sounded nice, but how long before the vram becomes an issue?

I looked at the 9070 non xt, but in my case the non xt model I think was only about 30-40 dollars less than the xt. So at that point why not get the faster card?

I will say however, if they were to release say an 18gb rtx 5070 super, now that would make the game very interesting even if it weren't as fast of a card as a 9070, if they kept it at a significantly lower price, that would make that card a compelling value. But the 5070 as it is now with the 12gb of vram, might be a great card and will probably last you most of this generation, but what about down the line especially when they start releasing new consoles and newer games with more effects etc? Or if you dial up the resolution past 1440p, I think the 5070 may struggle after a bit.

Yes, even at 4.0 vs 5.0 you will most likely not be able to tell a difference, I believe gamers nexus and LTT have covered gpu/pcie speeds on x16.

I went from an asus tuf 4070 oc to a zotac 5070 solid oc and the gains were noticeable in every game I play and 3d mark.

Go for it the 5070 is a beast.
