Question 5120x1440P 60Hz over USB C 3.1 gen 2?

Hi,

I'm connecting a Philips 499P9H screen to a Surface Laptop Studio. Currently it is connected with displayport running 5120x1440P at 60Hz.

If I change this over to a USB-C 3.1 gen 2 cable, which delivers 10Gbps, will I still get 60Hz or will it drop to 30Hz?

I'm wanting to change in order to get power delivery and access to the inbuilt webcamera without the extra cables.

I know the laptop is capable of running thunderbolt 4, but don't think the screen is.

Considering the laptop you have has Thunderbolt 4 ports, you should be good to go with that resolution and frequency.
